A Transformational Investment in Houston Youth

F.M. Law Park is many things to many kids: a home away from home … a welcoming destination … a place to learn … a safe haven. F.M. Law Park offers an entree to golf - a sport not typically accessible to many kids in the U.S. – especially low-income, female and minority youth.

The $6 million capital campaign represents a generational investment in Houston’s youth by elevating F.M. Law Park to the premier facility in the First Tee Network.

“The First Tee at F.M. Law Park became my second home. I was there almost every day, especially during the 2020 Pandemic. I learned the 9 Core Values and how to get along with other kids. I even developed my social skills and applied the 9 Core Values at home and school. Most of all, I learned that a well-mannered and a well-behaved golfer is better than all the birdies and eagles a golfer can make in his lifetime. In gratitude for First Tee and its coaches, I now volunteer.”
